These are the PERFECT bites to bring to a summer potluck - they’re so easy, portable, and literally bursting with amazing flavors. Think caprese meets charcuterie, on a stick!
Ingredients:
Cantaloupe chunks
Fresh basil leaves
Mozzarella balls
Torn prosciutto
Rustic bread, cut into chunks
Olive oil
Salt & fresh pepper
Balsamic glaze & flaky salt, to top
Instructions:
In a cast iron skillet, sauté bread chunks with a generous amount of olive oil, salt & pepper until they have a bit of crunch (but not too much - you want them to be able to go onto the skewer!) let cool slightly before adding to your skewers.
Assemble your skewers: alternate between bread, cantaloupe, basil, mozzarella, and prosciutto. Drizzle skewers with balsamic glaze and sprinkle on flaky salt. Serve and enjoy!
